About Dateline Alabama

Dateline Alabama publishes student work done in courses and for projects in the College of Communication and Information Sciences (CIS) at the University of Alabama.

The college consists of the Department of Advertising and Public Relations, the Department of Communication Studies, the Department of Journalism, the School of Library and Information Studies, the Department of Telecommunication and Film, and the Office for Graduate Studies.

The college also houses Alabama Public Radio, the Center for Public Television and Radio, WVUA TV, the Institute for Communication and Information Research, and the Plank Center for Public Relations Leadership.
